The River. It's Paranormal Activity meets the Amazon. And it's HILARIOUS.
Seriously? No one bothers to question as to WHY he's in a COCOON? Was it just expected that he was going to turn into a dragonfly? Trust me - this isn't even HALF of the things I think about this show. I've considered watching them all again and having a running commentary on the whole show.
But, because I will spare the world my crazy commentary on the show that deserves its own drinking game, I'll leave these. Three works from a sleepy brain. None of which I'm completely adoring at the moment. None with lyrics because my muses like songs that I'm boycotting.

Dear OUAT Fandom,
Was I the only person paying attention?! Baby EMMA was the only thing from fairy tale land to escape Regina and her soul-sucking curse. Via the pneumatic tube in the tree trunk thingie. Did you all miss the part where it was the only one made and blah blah freaking blah?
IN OTHER WORDS, unless they retcon the hell out of their little tree cabinet escape pod, mysterious writer-boy CANNOT be a fairy tale character. Quit trying to make him be Robin Hood or Pinocchio or The Big Bad Wolf. He can't be any of those. If he was, he wouldn't have just ridden into town from out of nowhere. He'd have already been IN the town and unable to leave it.
Besides, Pinocchio? Really? And he can't be Maleficent. Maleficent was played by Kristin Bauer van Straten. Besides, they're all connected somehow to their fairy tale counterpart. I mean, look at Ruby. Not only does her name and the constant red/wolf symbolism represent her other life, she's a waitress. Red Riding Hood was delivering things to her grandmother when she met the wolf. Cinderella? A housekeeper. Not only does August say he's a writer, did you just miss the book binding montage?
He's the writer of Henry's book. I'd almost bet everything on it. And I can't put my finger on why I feel this way, but I think he's added to the book.

For what it's worth, I'm well aware that Mandie's one of those annoying characters that is always talking about her kid. Know what? Don't care. Sometimes, when you've got kids, your schedule sorta revolves around them. Especially the active sort. And when you're more or less a stay-at-home mommy type, your family's naturally on the forefront of your mind. If someone doesn't like it, they're welcome to skip over her posts. She's a cheeseball.
And just to prove my point:

(On a gif-related note, you rarely see Maria in pictures anyway, but I didn't realize she was such a mini-Joy until right there. I can see a little bit of Michael in her, but the profiles! She's so her mommy's mini-me!)

Since my niece is torturing my brother with The Fresh Beat Band CD and pulling the blanket off of him while he tries to sleep on the couch (sure, I may have bought it for her because she sits happy to just clap her hands with the music from the show and I may have put it in the stereo in my mom's living room because Faith's like 8 months old and hasn't quite mastered climbing the furniture...yet), I get to play on youtube for a little while.
And all I can say is this. This would be the only reason in the world I would even bother with Gossip Girl. And it's because of D/B that I even HEARD of this song - it was on a fanmix (amusingly enough, created by the same person who made this video) . And muse-wise, Zoe snatched this up (for reasons I'm still not sure of - it doesn't really fit her and AJ at all), but there are so many lines in there for quite a few of my other pairs. My favorite being is this who you are, not who you want to be?
Honestly, it's just the kind of cute pick-me-up I needed to see after the mess that was my yesterday. I mean, when the only upside to your day is that your rainbow cupcakes turned out okay (and your purple layer actually looked purple as opposed to the weird gray-purple color that a lot of them seem to turn), it's a sign that you should have stayed in bed, right?
And I'd just like to say that I'm sorry if I was kinda snappy toward anyone last night. Though I'm still voting Gia stay in the headspace she's currently in! :P
